For the first time, all the storytellers are visible. In a hospital waiting room, four voices converge. The Grandmother, the Builder, the Scientist, and the Translator. Their tales begin weaving together. The reader holds two layers simultaneously: the epic stories being told and the mundane place where the telling happens.
